We speak of a chapter to the way a book or written literary work is divided, comprising many pages that are usually numbered and that in some cases have subtitles with specific topics. In ancient times they were known from scrolls of papyri or parchments as books, which, as today, were composed of texts that when reproduced and translated were identified as books, that is, the texts were as book 1, book 2 and so on.
Although in literature in its great variety as in science fiction or contemporary, you can find writings and novels that do not have them, because they are a continuous theme. The chapters are often used to give greater focus and make references to the topics, simplifying the queries, dividing into sections found at the beginning in the indexes of each book or text.
The bible is made up of a variety of books, which in turn have chapters with their own titles to refer to and position the reader in the mood of what happened or to further emphasize the state of the person who wrote it, such as the letter of The Ephesians, The Song of Songs or The Psalms that are supplications and praises to the creator, evoking the different situations, these chapters are divided into verses that are numbered and that is where you can read the specific content or apply a devotional with only a few how many citations as a study method.
The word itself contains different derivations, as in botany, which is when a set of simple and common flowers are born together and agglomerated, that is, in very united groups in a common receptacle, making an inflorescence giving the impression that it is a single flower; an example of a simple inflorescence is the ear of a wheat or the flower of the artichoke.
In written and spoken language it is used as an expression, either because the subject is of greater importance that requires special attention because it deserves a more extensive development, in turn, if a person is required to give an account of the reason for his behavior, this is called a chapter.
