The symptoms of cervicitis can include infrequent bleeding from the vagina after sexual intercourse, between menstrual periods, or even after menopause. According to studies, cervicitis is very common in women to the point that it can occur in more than half of women at some point in their life, some of the factors that can increase the risk of suffering from it are sexual intercourse occasional, promiscuity, having ever suffered from a sexual infection, premature sex, couples who at some point have suffered from STDs, among others.
Experts recommend as preventive measures to avoid its condition, avoid the use of substances that are possibly irritable to the vagina, avoid having intercourse with multiple sexual partners, ensure that your partner does not suffer from any STD.
