Companionship can be described as that feeling or bond that is built between two or more people belonging to a given society or community; This word is made up of the entry "companion" that derives from the Latin "cum panis", which means "with bread", in addition to the suffix "ism" alluding to "attitude" or "tendency"; Finally we can say that companionship refers to the harmonious relationship that is founded between partners. This relationship or bond is fully related to empathy, altruism, generosity and disinterest towards another person along with the desire for their well-being.
Companionship has existed throughout history, from the beginning of humanity's existence to the present day, since it is a feeling that human beings harbor and that helps them to relate in a society.
