The word Competence, derives from the Latin “ Competentia ”, from this word there are two great aspects which have a very different meaning even if they are written the same. First, a competition is a rivalry between those agents who want the same goal, at the same time and under the same conditions. A competition is governed under a single premise, to be the first to obtain the fortune or the jackpot, to win at all costs within or outside the established rulesfor that end. A competition can be established under a compendium of rules of the person who organizes it, this regulation is generally stipulated by those who must guarantee the safety of the competitors and those who are spectators of the competition. The relationship of the competitors with the prize gives the strength to want to compete and try to be superior.
The best amplification of a competition is the one observed in sports, either through a race or at intervals until determining who was the best. In sports and any field in which a competition is opened where they seek to encourage a prosperously happy quality of life for those who practice it, as a reward, the prizes do not wait, so all of these have the form of competition and must be executed in a healthy way to be able to maintain the ethical and moral values of the discipline.
The question of a competition will not always be to get to first place and be crowned with the prize, but to demonstrate the correct aptitudeand comply with the established. In this way, the term can be adopted by any field in which various organisms take a position of action to take possession of certain possibilities of the environment (space, food, reproduction facilities, among others). According to Darwin, the competition between diverse species leads to a natural selection, in which the best adapted survive and are positioned to evolve challenge after crossing a goal, after having completed a journey or simply after having passed the conditions of the contest.
In another order of ideas, competition in the legal field refers to the capacity, ability or responsibility that a person may have in a matter, Example: “It is the responsibility of the regional government to maintain the country's land routes in good condition, while it is the responsibility of the national executive to maintain the budget for their construction and maintenance ”. Competition is also synonymous with concernIn other words, competition can become a measure of responsibility for a person: "The problem that is happening in the family is only the competence of the people who make it up, the neighbors are not concerned with such a situation." This last use is applied in a very formal language of course, but nevertheless it is the knowledge of today's society to determine what is and not the competence of certain agents in certain matters.
