On a physical level, a series of small contractions that occur suddenly in certain areas of a muscle is called twitching. These contractions are usually local, meaning they occur in a specific location, such as in the arm muscle, the eyelids, the thumb, or the calves. This occurs due to the uncontrolled twitching of a muscle group that includes a single nerve fiber or filament.

Often these muscle twitching, go unnoticed or can be noticed by other people or when they are frequent. According to specialists, its origin is neurological and its cause is mainly stress and anxiety.

Now, the term tension also serves to define the anger or irritation that a person may feel at a certain moment. Although it is true that there are people who are continuously in a state of tension, because it is a characteristic aspect of their personality, it is also true that tension can appear in a state of nervousness or tension, the product of some event that has arisen that causes a great annoyance.

Sometimes there are situations where the person cannot help but tense up since they are environments where there are screams, arguments, etc.

The meaning of this term is adaptable to the political environment, where power is used to resolve conflicts that arise. If the leaders of a government do not seek harmony among all those who oppose their mandate, then it will drive the increase in tension and at the same time generate obstacles that will prevent them from ruling quietly.

In this case, the only way to avoid tension is by creating an agreement, making the correct decisions based on the consensus of the majority, but trying to reduce the tension of the minority.
