It is said that a nonsense is that said or fact that lacks logic or that, well, is staged ignoring the currents of reason. This can also be that thing that is out of the standard, the common or ordinary; in this case, it can also be called barbarity. On some occasions, relationships are usually established between this term and inappropriate or foul language, which consists of those words that, according to society and the linguistic community, can easily offend the physical and mental integrity of a being. In this way, it can be sensed that nonsense is anything that lacks logic.
It is necessary to address the issue of reason, since it is that which, according to its absence, determines nonsense. This is the capacity or faculty of the human being, to identify concepts, find coherence or contradiction in these and question the content, source or credibility in general of the same. This is governed by three main concepts: the principle of identity, the principle of non-contradiction and the principle of the excluded third, all of which serve to determine the nature of the concept that is presented to it. If any speech or behavior deviates from the traditional conceptions of reason, then it becomes nonsense, nonsense.
It is worth mentioning the series of works made by Francisco de Goya, which is considered one of his most difficult to interpret creations. Dream representations, violence and sex abound, in addition to the ridicule of the regime imposed at that time (circa 1816). Some scenarios are played, such as the carnival, the grotesque and the nocturnal.
