It is known by availability, according to the real Spanish academy, the quality or condition of available. The availability can refer to an animate or inanimate being since it can talk about a product as such or about a specific person. For example, availability can refer to the probability that a certain product is available, can be found or consumed in the market in general and the lack of availability of these makes these even more expensive since the demand is greater than the supply.
On the other hand, as an adjective, one speaks of availability to make mention of something that is free to be used and what can be freely available. Or to refer to when a person does not have any partner, or commitment or any type of love relationship; therefore this person is told that they are available, so they are free to do and act as they please. But outside this last context, it can also refer to the person being free to carry out a certain activity, or being unemployed to do whatever is required of him.
It is also used when an active military or civil servant does not have a destination, and one can be granted one quickly. In the workplace, it expresses that a person is free to provide services to another individual or an organization. Finally availability is also used to have a sum of money or possessions that are possessed and which they could freely consume or exploit in a given time.
