The effectiveness is that aptitude of the animals, especially of the human being that allows it to reach its objectives. When a specimen sets a goal, an objective, with the possible tools and capabilities, it will look for a way to obtain its result. When he succeeds, regardless of resources, he is effective in his task. It is inevitable not to mention the difference between effectiveness and efficiency, since they are quite similar and are related in situations or work or study environments in which an optimization of resources is required.
When we talk about effectiveness, we refer to the complete execution of the process that gives us the result, efficiency is when resources are used to the maximum, reducing their cost or use and generating the same effects.
A classic example: in an office, in which an employee performs a job that meets the goal set by his superiors, he is being effective in the task he is doing, if this worker tries hard and performs an extra portion of work, or the that makes it outstanding, is being effective. You will receive a bonus for this, but if it is only effective with your responsibility, it will not generate any type of incentive that rewards you in the organization for which you work.
An effective economy is one that generates the income expected by those who control it, when the investments that are made work to the extent expected. We speak of economic growth, when the work that is carried out, the negotiation or the behavior of the product or service are favorable in the market, generating efficiency.
