The life expectancy also known as "life expectancy", is the assessment of the average number of years in which live a set of entities that are born the same year, if the movements in the mortality rate refers to the proportion of individuals with a particular characteristic who die with respect to the total number of entities that have that characteristic and which is divided by the mortality rate by age and by the mortality rate by social group.

For example, life expectancy in Venezuelans is 71 years at the beginning of the nineties, this presented a considerable increase compared to the beginning of the fifties, in which women have increased more than men in the environment of the life expectancy, due to the fact that in the 1950s the difference between the sexes was 2.8 years in favor of women, an amount that increased to 6.2 years at the beginning of the 1990s.

This is about the number of years you live in a certain absolute or total population for a certain time and is influenced by elements such as the quality of medicine, because science is dedicated to the study of life, health, the diseases of the human being, which refers to the technical knowledge for the sustenance and the recovery of health, adapting it to the diagnosis, by the process where a disease is identified; prevention refers to the branch of the medical specialty responsible for the prevention of diseases based on a set of actions and medical advice to prevent diseases, treatment or therapies, among others.
