This word refers to an Image or figure stamped on paper or printed on a book; a figure or aspect of a person, animal or thing that makes a certain impression on the person who sees it.
From a religious point of view, many faithful also have images of saints for those who have a special devotion and for those who pray frequently. These images are frequent in the Catholic religion. They are letters in pocket format that show the image of a religious figure on the front and on the back, generally adding a prayer that serves as a reference so that the faithful can dedicate those words to said Saint.
Prints are especially prevalent in children's books as the images attract readers and allow the child to better understand the development of the story.
The concept of seal can also be used in another context. For example, when two relatives have a great physical resemblance and both have very similar characteristics, it is possible to use the expression "one is the seal of the other" to visually visualize this great physical resemblance.
Paintings are also an image, since they show the representation of a landscape or a specific image. The art of painting shows the value of the image through paintings that are a portrait, that is, the image perfectly represents the person it is inspired by.
The pictures family occupying portraits and photo albums also show pictures of specific times, specific images that immortalize moments of our lives and allow us to relive the past through the clarity of that image.
