Continuous evaluation represents a new form of educational evaluation and it is the one that is being used repeatedly today in educational centers. It is defined as the evaluative mechanism, in which different tests or activities are set during the course of the subject, thus evaluating the pedagogical evolution of the student. Continuous assessment provides students with a series of benefits within the educational environment, since it gives them a greater opportunity to pass the subjects, taking into account that the contents can be assimilated and learned in a progressive and deep way, perceiving all the ongoing support and collaboration from teachers.
In the same way, the student being able to have the information and with that continuous interaction with the teacher, will make him know with certainty what his learning rhythm is, being able to timely rectify his educational process, in this way he can improve his habits and methodology to study so they can increase their organizational capacity.
On the other hand, continuous assessment facilitates the incorporation of a wide variety of activities and resources, which will allow them to adapt to the different learning methods of students, thus enriching their educational experience.
Another feature that should be highlighted is the link between the actions carried out within the continuous evaluation process, with the interests and opportune job needs that students may have in the future, which will allow them to create their professional profile, know their talents or skills and acquire those that are necessary and that can be applied in the professional context.
In the same way, it makes it possible to improve progress in terms of learning by progressively increasing the capacities of each of the subjects, more easily associating previous knowledge with current ones, thus creating valuable learning.
In turn, continuous assessment makes it possible for the different participants in the teaching-learning process to act in the formation of shared knowledge, making everyone feel that they are part of an educational society.
Finally, it should be noted that, if the continuous assessment is structured in a correct way, it should be able to pass the subject, without the teacher having to take a final test.
