To experience exultation is to live a more remarkable inner happiness. Therefore, this inner joy produces an intense emotion whose memory is kept in time generating a very pleasant relationship in a real cause. In the religious sphere, we speak of the excessive praise that God has, of finding the joy of pleasing him and of attracting peace. Being a virtue felt by a Christian for the complacency on the divine justice of God, feeling exalted to obtain the grace and the divine favor.
That is, a person experiences exultation at a specific event, good news that becomes a source of personal delight and congratulations. People experience exultation as a result of love, that is, a person truly rejoices at the happiness of those whom he loves unconditionally.
Furthermore, the greater the intensity of a desire, the greater is also the force with which that desire is received, which, being so expected, becomes a reason for existential gratitude when it occurs. And then the person experiences that pleasant feeling of fulfillment that arises from the gifts of life.
As we have said, exultation is a feeling of deep joy, therefore, it is a less frequent feeling than being happy and it is that not every day we experience extraordinary events in our life.
A person can experience joy after having truly fallen in love, when he has closed the doors to love, it is possible to experience this joy before the expected reunion with a loved one who lives far away, happiness is the joy of recovery after illness, the arrival of a new family member also adds happiness to life, the contemplation of the aesthetic beauty of a new dawn, a very pleasant unexpected event, a promotion at work, an approval in an opposition…
If we were to reflect on the most intense reasons for happiness that a person had in his life, we would ask him: What moments of exultation do you remember in your life? And it is that, although there are many moments lived that do not remain in the memory, those that are linked to an intense emotion leave a very intense mark on the heart.
In our modern era it is a word of little or no use, since it is changed by the word exalted, which means to praise, highlight, grant greatness or give value to an object, thing or person. The word exult is used mainly for the praise that was given to God for all the goodness that his disciples obtained, either for the fruit of their work or for the obedience they gave to their beliefs towards God; manifesting a variety of sentiments, they were exulted or exalted at winning the victories they dedicated to the creator.
