The word ghost comes from the Greek language and its definition is somewhat complex, since it can refer to different entities. However, this term is often used a lot to refer to the image of a deceased person, since accounts of people, these entities can appear to the living.
The medium is the person in charge or the one who can easily communicate with beings who have passed to another plane. This is a skill that those who claim to have it, is developing every day and allows them to break the barriers of the two worlds, that of the living and the dead. Having a conversation with a ghost may seem unusual and not very credible to many people, but it is the daily life of a medium, both consciously and through dreams.
Ghosts can be images of objects that remain in fantasies or chimerical visions that arise thanks to dreams and imagination. On the other hand, it is also known by the name of ghost effect to a graphic effect that can be seen on certain TFT screens, if their response time is too long, that is, if it takes them too long to get a pixel to go from the state active to inactive. The shorter the transition time, the fewer shades of gray will be seen by users.
This effect is also called a wake, since it becomes especially evident in things that move at a high speed and that seem to leave a trace of its trajectory, due to the slowness with which the device moves, it updates the image around it. Although there are several factors that condition the quality of a TV monitor, a response time greater than 2 milliseconds is not recommended for playing videos or for the use of video games in which speed is essential, such as racing and action movies.
It is important to emphasize that CRT monitors, which are cathode ray tube monitors, do not have the ghost effect, because the response time is greater than that of a TFT in which it can be seen, the reason is because the image it is updated per frame, just like plasma displays.
