The word brochure is polysemic in nature. The most common and well-known meaning is the one that refers to those forms in which, briefly and using as little text as possible, general information and the benefits that a product brings are explained to a potential consumer; Also, they can focus on promoting a company, additional services or explaining what is related to medical conditions, among others. Brochure is also that very short printed document, in which a matter is explained. In the literary field, brochures are those prints that have more than four pages and less than forty-six, which, by default, does not constitute a book.
This term begins to be used in the Castilian language with the loan, from Italian, of the word foglietto, the diminutive of foglio. This word, in turn, comes from the Latin, folium, which can be translated as " leaf." This, in its current use, is that document with few pages, used to promote or disseminate information. It is one of the most used marketing tools, due to its simplicity and the rapid impact it can cause on those who read it. Generally, this is delivered to customers in any commercial establishment or it can be distributed on the streets.
Brochures, to be attractive to the eyes of customers, must have clear, impressive titles and subtitles that contain positive messages for it. The argument put forward in it must be clear and all benefits must be covered. Likewise, the inclusion of product use demonstrations and photographs of it are also recommended.
