Joy is a word that comes from ancient Greek and Latin; From ancient Greek it comes from the word Xapa which means great delight and full of joy and in Latin we find it by Gaudium, which means joy, enjoyment, pleasure and it is the second fruit of the Holy Spirit and is manifested by a deep spiritual joy in the hearts of the worshipers of God, the Holy Spirit being an active and present part in God the Father and Jesus as his son making a triad of perfect complements; in a communion with the created and its creator; And although it affects the body, it occurs in the soul of the being, in its higher faculties of the soul because the Holy Spirit is where it lives and its greatest virtue is to help not lose joy when going through tribulations or mistakes. In other words, it is not a temporary joy due to the good circumstances of a special moment, it is a permanent happiness and satisfaction that remains not from the external but from the internal faith and communion in God.
Gozo is also an island of Malta found in the Mediterranean Sea, it is much visited for its beauty and splendor. In the mythological legend of Homer's Odyssey, this island of joy is believed to be the same island referred to there as Calypso Island, describing it as a beautifully peaceful mystical paradise.
