It is also used to refer to people, being common in the female sex; has its origin the term from the Latin "gratia", which became known with Catholicism.
Within religion, divine grace is the set of gifts given by a deity to a human being, to keep his virtues intact and stay on the right path. In Christianity, this is given by God to make a follower keep the Commandments. In ancient Greece, the goddesses known as "the three graces" represented nature and the charm and beauty that it, in all its aspects, gave off. Likewise, formerly, in Spain there were three ecclesiastical taxes, being called the Bull of the Holy Crusade, the ecclesiastical subsidy and the ecclesiastical toilet.
