The eagle is the largest predatory bird on the planet and there are different species and their species that can be found almost anywhere in the world with the sole exception of Antarctica. They belong to the group of birds of prey, and are in turn to the order of the accipitriformes of the family accipitridae, of the subfamily buteoninae.
