Hebiatrics or adolescent medicine is a medical subspecialty that focuses on the care of patients who are in the period of adolescent development, generally ranging from the last years of elementary school to high school graduation (some physicians in this subspecialty they treat young adults attending university in the clinical area, in the subfield of university health).
