The Hebrews is the name under which an ancient Semitic people originating from the Mediterranean Levant in the Near East is defined, they were established in 616 BC, in addition to that they are ancestors of the Israelites and the Jewish people. The quintessential reference source for Hebrews is the Bible, or the Torah. According to these sources, the Hebrews represent the initial monotheistic group, which descends from the post-Flood patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The term Hebrew can have different definitions, which will depend on the orientation, since for example Hebrew could be said to be a dialect that was spoken in Israel and used as a language liturgical in Jewish ceremonies.
As for the dialect, it must be written from right to left, with an alphabet that is made up of 22 letters. At the beginning it only indicated consonants, but despite this the V, and the H were used to symbolize certain vowels at the end of a word, as for example the V represented the u; the Y for its part symbolized the i.
On the other hand, according to the definition that describes an ancient Semitic people, it can be said that they were ancestors of the Israelites and the Jewish community. According to the texts found in the bible, the Hebrew people were characterized by being nomadic, they used to live in tents, generally they were shepherds, owners of goats and sheep. Their religion was kind of monotheistic since their only deity or god was Yahweh and keep respect towards him trying not to mention his name or otherwise do as little as possible, reason why try to refer to God as Adonai, Elohim, etc.
The religious beliefs of the Hebrews are focused on the future arrival of a messiah and on the role that the Hebrew people will occupy when that event occurs, since according to the sacred scriptures it is exactly from that people that the messiah will emerge.. The Hebrews are strongly related to religion.
