Etymologically the word brotherhood comes from the Latin "germanitas", from "germanus" which means "fraternal". This term is used to define the consanguinity relationship that exists between two people, although it can also be linked to the affinity and friendship that exists between a group of people or peoples. Brotherhood represents one of the most intense bonds a person can have in their entire life, and because it revolves around blood ties, it has an eternal durability.
Brotherhood implies a set of acts and behaviors that are based on feelings of mutual commitment, accompanied by solidarity and affection, obviously, each particular link will mean different ways of expressing these feelings towards others.
A variant of this word is manifested in the religious environment. A religious brotherhood is a set of individuals who share the same beliefs and the same values, related to some element of the religion they profess. For example, in the Catholic religion, brotherhoods are created to venerate the Virgin or Jesus Christ. People united by faith may have different professions and activities, however their union is through the feeling they experience for the religion they have in common.
The brotherhood is also synonymous with brotherhood, although the latter is more related to the Catholic Church, however it can also refer to other types of organizations that have no link with religion, hence there may be a small difference between the brotherhood and the brotherhood.
Among the many phrases of brotherhood that can be expressed to friends and family are: "I am lucky to have a beautiful family that supports me and is there when I need it most." "Friendship is an important element in my life at the same time I have you." "I've never had friends as sincere as you before."
