The homogeneous voice comes from the Latin “homogenĕus” they are those that belong or are related to characterize two or more things or living beings that are similar in their nature that make up the same gender. This makes the explanation of all those identical characters that is a mixture or a homogeneous substance that show or expose a composition and a uniform structure that is when they have the same form, way of being or intensity, in all their duration or extension.

The homogeneous system is created by a single phase that, from the point of view of chemistry, exposes its intensive properties of the same value at all points. The first step to review or analyze if a mixture is homogeneous is the visualization if it is not possible to know the different phases or components and thus this mixture complies with homogeneity.

In the natural sciences, chemistry is called a material system to any quantity or part belonging to the universe, which is isolated for analysis and study. These material systems perform intensive properties that do not depend on the amount of substances or the size of a body, so the value remains unchanged when subdividing the initial system into several subsystems and for that reason they are not additive properties and the extensive properties are the that are under the control of the quantity of substance or the size of a body, magnitudes where the value conforms to a proportion to the size of the system it describes.
