Anonim

The word horoscope comes from the Greek “ὡροσκόπος” which means “who observes the time”, a voice that gave rise to the Latin word “horoscŏpus”, in a general sense, horoscope refers to the supposed prediction of a future given based on the knowledge of the knowledge of the time and date of the birth of a particular entity. According to the RAE horoscope has two possible meanings, of which one of them refers to the divination or forecast of what will happen in the coming days, that is, in the future, all this taking into account the placement or relative positioning of the stars and each of the signs of the Zodiac at a certain moment.

The other possible meaning of the word is used to describe that scheme or sketch that symbolizes the Zodiac and that astrologers use in order to make such predictions or divinations. The astrology is a group of prediction systems, comprising the horoscope and the chart in order to make guesses based on the position or place of the stars at the time of birth or origin. It should be noted that there is no reliable evidence or the authenticity of the revelations or riddles that emanate from these practices has not been scientifically proven.

In ancient times, various civilizations and cultures of the world used different similar prediction methods, relying on calendars that they created themselves, relating them directly to the stars, a great example of this was the Mayan civilization. According to studies, it was discovered that it was in Babylon, during the Persian reign, as stated by the Danish mathematical historian Van der Waerden, that hygroscopic astronomy originated.
