What is intention? »Its definition and meaning

Anonim

The word intention in a general concept, deals with the purposes or the will to do something. Through it the reason for being of a specific word or action is evidenced. The intention is absolutely subjective, it is immersed in the depths of human consciousness. Most of the time, people make the mistake of drawing incorrect conclusions, based on interpretations, about external facts, when the truth is that only the person is the one who really knows what the intention is that drives him to execute an action.

That is why it is very important that individuals learn to face situations, in this way speculation and the formation of their own ideas will be avoided. In personal relationships, dialogue is essential, since doubts are clarified, by obtaining answers, which reveal the real intention of the other person.

There are cases where the intention does not achieve the desired results. For example, when a person gives a gift to another, but the gift has not been to the liking of the recipient. In this situation, what the person who receives the gift should really value is the intention of the one who gives it to them, since behind all good intentions there is a show of love and affection.

It should be noted that all intention must show consistency between the facts and the words. For example, it is said that someone sends an illogical message at the level of intention, when a subject says one thing and does the opposite. The intention reflects the essence of one person, which is transmitted to another.

It should not be forgotten that for a person to be clear about their intentions, they must be certain of what is desired and what is the best way to achieve the proposed goal. Since by having doubts about your goals, you will also have doubts about your intentions.
