Within an effective communication there are several elements, one of them is the Message, which is basically the content, purpose or object of said communication. In other words, the message is the information that the sender wishes to transmit to the receiver, the sender being the person in charge of sending or directing the message and the receiver being the person who receives it.
There are different ways of transmitting a message, but for it to be understood as such, both characters of the communication (sender and receiver) must understand the language through which the information is being delivered, because if the receiver does not understand what the sender is trying to inform the message cannot be received correctly and effectively, for example if a person who only speaks English tries to communicate with another who only understands Spanish the message cannot be accepted and understood as such. And it is not only about the language, because the message can be sent in written and spoken form, but it can also be sent through signs, symbols, images, or any kind of codethat the receiver can perceive through his senses, which means that there are multiple types of channels through which a message can be delivered from one person to another.
Initially, the most common way to get a message was through speech, until writing was developed, and with it letters were created, which allowed a message to reach a more remote place from which it was transmitted. Today the most common way to send or receive a message is through technological devices, such as a computer (where emails are sent and received) or a cell phone where text messages (SMS, Short Message Service)They are the most popular, and it is because they are the fastest and most direct way to send and receive information. Although in general, thanks to technological advances, there is a great variety of communication styles that allow us to stay in contact with many people in different parts of the world, somewhat shortening the geographical distance.
