It comes from the Greek "morphos" which means form and logos which means studies, which makes the study of forms, which ranges from words, biology as well as mathematics. For biology it can be defined as the part that studies organic beings and the modifications and transformations that it undergoes. In a certain way, it is equated with anatomy, the differentiation between shape and structure is frequent: the first refers to the object of anatomy and the second refers to histology.
For the linguistic part, it can be defined as the treatise on the shape of the parts or the study of the different forms and variants of the meaning of words to a language, regardless of the language, its minimum unit is the morpheme, grammatically significant to form the words. These are classified in affixes, grammatical or graphemes, prefixes, suffixes and inflections, it can refer to the fact of determining its grammatical category, that is, if it is a pronoun, adjective, noun, among others. The morphology in the branch of mathematics studies the forms and geometric measurements in the area of geography studies the morphology of the land and the area of physics is responsible for studying the processes andphysical movements.
It is worth mentioning that morphology is also present in the urban environment, and from some years until then, the interest of designers, engineers and architects in improving the decoration of cities as well as their construction projects each day is more competitive in the real estate market.
