What is nobody? »Its definition and meaning

Anonim

The word nobody, according to the Royal Spanish Academy is described as no person, as an indefinite pronoun, and it is invariable since it is usually used before the verb. Although it precedes a negation behind the verb, it retains its affirmative etymological meaning. Also, the word nobody, as a noun, describes an insignificant, mediocre, ridiculous, invaluable person or individual, etc. of little importance or of little character.

As a pronoun, the terms nobody, someone, whoever and whoever refers to people. The use of the latter two in Spanish currently tends to be rare. On the other hand, nothing and something always refer to things. Nobody and nothing, as opposition to someone and something, are already negative forms in themselves, as was said before, so they do not need another negation for their construction, unless they are found after the verb. It should be noted that as a noun the term nobody has only the masculine genderand therefore the verb that accompanies it must coincide in this gender and number. Many people fall into the terrible confusion of using and transforming this word, due to the words "nadien" and "naide", which are considered vulgar forms, which is why the Royal Academy says that they should be avoided.

Also this name, no one, is carried by a Colombian group of punk rock music, originally from the city of Medellín, Antioquia, this group was formed in 1994, this band or group has three members, and in their songs they play or expose many universal themes of denunciation, relief and love.
