Neopaganism is the grouping of several modern spiritual trends, inspired by different styles of polytheistic religiosity that are precursors to Christianity, they are constantly assimilated with a religious definition of modern ecology. This trend can be divided into four major media among which stand out, traditional witchcraft that covers a great diversity of rituals and beliefs, such as devotion to the ancestors and faith in animism, and Wicca, is a bitheistic doctrine that was given known by the Englishman Gerald Gardner in the mid-twentieth century, who attests to having started in religion through a group of British witches, there are also syncretisms and different types of neo-pagan reconstructionism.
The mystique of " Gardnerian Wicca " can be conceptualized as a bitheistic religion, involving two main archetypal goddesses of European witchcraft, who are the Goddess of witches, a glorified term of the feminine principle, and the horned God, is created in honor to the ancient gods of the hunt, especially the Celtic Cernunnos and is demonized by the Catholic Church. However, there are monotheistic rites of the female goddess, such as Dianic Wicca. Its emblem is the five-pointed star within a sphere called the pentacle.
Regarding traditional witchcraft, when it does not refer to specific rites such as the Anderson Feri, Clan de Tubal Caín, Cultus Sabbati, it would be a terminology that involves different traditions of witchcraft, some are based on the Latin American witchcraft culture, spaecrafte, streghoneria, seidr, and others are based on the greenwitchery, hedgewitchery, kitchenwitchery practices. Finally, others are unique and personal traditions for the individual.
The cults and procedures of neo-pagan rituals distinguish one culture from the other. There are still the conductive chains that pass through the relationship with nature. Most of the section of these rituals include the appearance of parts and symbols of nature. Another part of these rituals are related to the pentacle. For these spiritual ceremonies elements such as stones, crystals, water, flowers, salts and some symbols are used.
