An objective is the ultimate goal to which an action or operation is directed. It is the result or sum of a series of goals and processes. It is said that the person after having identified an objective whose achievement he considers important, has to be able to describe the actions that represent its meaning. In other words, being able to describe specific results that, if achieved, will make you assume that the goal has also been achieved. For example, if a person wants a home of their own in the future, they first set their goals: studying or training as a professional, working, getting the money and the mortgage, among others.
The objective also acts as an adjective: it is considered as everything related to the object itself, and does not depend on one's appreciation or way of thinking. In the example, the baseball team has played well , the objectivity of the game is being demonstrated and not their appreciation, which in this case is serious, for me the team played well for the coach ; here one would be being subjective and not objective.
In the same way, the objective is understood as the person who is not influenced by feelings or personal interests in their judgments or behavior; staying impartial, neutral and fair.
On the other hand, in the field of view, the objective is a simple lens or set of lenses that facilitate the correct focus of objects. This is found in cameras, microscopes or other elements of vision or image capture. The lens is known, in generic terms, as wide angle, normal and telephoto, all three terms refer to the focal length of the lens, which is usually measured in millimeters.
