The word organization comes from the Greek "organon" which means "instrument", "tool" or "useful". The term organization, based on the dictionary of the real Spanish academy, has four possible meanings between them and as its main meaning, organization is the action and effect of organizing or organizing. In a general way, the word refers to the group or group of people who come together for a specific purpose, although it can also refer to an entity, company, public institution, non-governmental organization or corporation, among others, that are created by people for a specific function. in particular, therefore it is stated that the concept of organization can be applied indifferent areas such as educational, business, religious, sports, among many others. Therefore, the rae also defines organization as "an association of people regulated by a set of rules based on specific purposes."
In the business world the word organization is very common, and in this field it is defined as the administrative process, by means of which two or more people carry out a given job in a coordinated and orderly manner in a particular external environment in search of a goal these are proposed. So there is a division of tasks, activities and also where each individual obtains certain responsibilities.
It is important to note that an organization can be structured formally or informally; if it is formal, it follows a series of internal rules and if it is not, or if it is informal, it is generated spontaneously, and resulting in the proper functioning and development of the company or entity. In each organization there must be a person willing to play a fundamental role in situations where leadership, control of human resources, planning, financial resources, technology, etc. are needed.
Por otra parte la voz organización puede utilizarse como sinónimo de orden, disposición, o arreglo, distribución, agrupamiento. Por ultimo otra de las acepciones establecidas por la rae para este vocablo dice: “disposición de los órganos de la vida, o forma de estar organizado el cuerpo animal o vegetal“.
