Anonim

The word origin, in a general concept refers to the beginning, the cause or birth that produces an event or situation. It is a term that is often used in many contexts. When it comes to the origin of an individual, we are talking about the land from which that person comes, that is, the country or region where they were born. Eg "Maria is of Venezuelan origin."

The origin of everything known to man, such as the universe, the planet where he lives and life itself, have been one of the unknowns of human beings since it appeared on earth, however after long years of research and study, man has come to propose two theories: the creationist theory, which affirms that the world and everything that exists in it, is the product of divine creation. And the Bing Bang theory, which maintains that the universe was created from an explosion.

There is also another theory, the evolutionist one, which considers that all living beings found on earth were created by modifications from inert matter, until reaching the constant adaptation of the species. This last theory was formulated by Charles Darwin in his book "Theory of the Origin of Species".

In mathematics, the origin represents the starting point. On the number line it is represented by the number 0. In two-dimensional graphics the starting point is (0,0) where the "x" and "y" axes intersect.
