The Battery is a device capable of generating electrical current, its operation consists of transforming the chemical energy of its components into electrical energy, and it is used for the operation of many devices, such as watches, radio and television receivers, toys, flashlights, etc..
There are different types of electric batteries, but even when they are different, in each one the construction details and the materials used to produce the chemical reactions that generate the electric current have the same foundation. In all, the following elements are found: positive electrode, negative electrode, electrolyte and depolarizing.
The batteries can be classified into wet and dry, depending on whether or not they have liquid inside. In wet cells, the bodies are inside an electrolyte made up of a solution of water with an acid or salt. These are of greater historical than technological interest since, due to their large size and complexity, they have been almost entirely replaced by dry cells.
In the case of dry cells, the electrolyte is absorbed by a porous medium, its compound is solid or pasty. The three types of greatest interest, within this last category, are the Leclanché battery, the alkaline manganese and the alkaline mercury.
Every battery has a current that is measured in volts. That current is called the electromotive force. Most batteries are 1.5 volts and there are up to 4.5 volts. In many cases, when the battery runs low; that is, it loses its ability to continue doing work, it can be recharged, using electrical energy for it.
In the case of not being rechargeable, once spent, we must throw them into the special containers for them, and not into the household garbage, because they contain highly polluting components for the environment.
The term Pile is also referred to the heap or accumulation formed by pieces or portions of a thing or material, which in general, is formed by putting one on top of another and so on. For example; a pile of dirty dishes, a pile of clothes, a pile of bricks, etc.
In the same way, it is considered as a concave container of stone or other resistant material, where water falls or is placed for various uses; like the kitchen sink, patio sink, or bathroom sink . In the religious framework, a baptismal font is the concave container, which is found in churches and which contains holy water to administer baptism.
