The banana is a large herbaceous plant, which in certain regions is known as banana. It is an elongated berry, which can measure between ten and fifteen centimeters in length, with a small curvature and a smooth skin with a yellow hue.
It is possible to enjoy bananas throughout the year in tropical areas, this is because they are harvested in all seasons. When it has a yellow hue, it is cut from the plant, so that it is later packaged and transported in the appropriate conditions of temperature and humidity determined, so that in this way a perfect state of conservation can be guaranteed, until it reaches the final consumer.
Regarding its size, flavor and color it is diverse, since it will depend on the variety in question, but in general it can be said that its weight ranges between 200 grams for the largest and 120 grams for the smallest. As for its color, it varies between green, yellow and reddish, and with respect to the taste in most it is sweet, and aromatic, except in this case for the male banana, which is not sweet and its pulp is mealy.
The banana is undoubtedly the tropical fruit that has the highest consumption in the world and as before, since in addition to its flavor, it is rich in fibers, potassium, carbohydrates and vitamins A and C, tryptophan, which is an essential amino acid within of the diet of humans, which combats irritation in the esophagus.
