The term branch has different definitions, this will depend on the context in which it is used. In the area of biology, a branch represents one of the parts that make up a tree and where the leaves grow. It consists of a wooden structure embedded in the trunk of the tree. The branches have different ways of developing, they can do it vertically, horizontally or diagonally, the latter being the most common in tree species. Some branches can be flexible, however they can break if they are exposed to an overload, such as the action of the wind or the weight of an animal, causing the branch to fracture.
When a tree or bush grows many branches, people send them to prune. The pruning is cutting the branches and is applied for aesthetic purposes to shape the plant and to remove dead branches.
Another use of the word branch is one that relates it to the name of each area into which a discipline is divided. For example, "pediatrics is the branch of medicine that interests me."
In the religious context, the term rama is linked with the name of a god of the Hindu religion. It is said that this divinity was born in India and its main mission was to free its land from the slavery to which it was subjected by a demon called Ravana. It is said that today the Rama God is very popular among his faithful.
