Relax is a word that was introduced from English to Spanish, which means to relax, this English word comes from the Latin "relaxare" composed with the intensive "re" over "laxare" which means to release, relax, loosen, which also comes from the words laxar and laxative. According to the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy, the word relax is used to refer to physical or mental relaxation that is produced by appropriate exercises or by comfort, well-being or any other cause. In Spanish the word "relax" can refer to rest, carefree, get rest, relax, rest, relax, take a break, calm down; loosen, vent, etc.

Relaxation is a technique that helps people to release and free themselves of negative energies that tend to accumulate in their body or mind, therefore there are two types of relaxation, on the one hand there is physical relaxation where the objective is to achieve relaxation of each one of the muscles, internal organs and nerves; and on the other hand there is mental relaxation which is based on mentally transporting oneself to a pleasant place of rest, and thus achieving visualization and tranquility of the mind, with this the cells are renewed, anger is dissipated and one thinks more carefully.

As previously said, relaxation is synonymous with relaxing, either physically or mentally and it should be noted that this is vital to guarantee the health and well-being of people, but also the restoration of passion and joy in their lives; so as not to give rise to stress, which is the opposite, and this can affect a person's life leading to depression, illness, weight gain and a general feeling of discontent.
