It is known as Syncope to a fainting, a momentary loss of consciousness of a human being, the body loses strength, the skin loses its original color, the sense fades and the person falls without an apparent reason, usually, by surprise. It is also called Syncopal Episode or "Soponcio", the effect is relatively fast, recovering who suffers it completely in a matter of minutes. Experts assure that a syncope can be previously announced to the victim, flashes of light appear in view while vision is blurred and knowledge of time is lost (It is incorrect to say that a syncope is the loss of consciousness, the correct thing is lost consciousness).
What concerns us now is to identify the possible causes: the main thing would be the lack of oxygenation of the brain. People with problems in the cervical spine area frequently experience lightheadedness and fainting. Impressions, scares, fears and any emotional event can cause a traumatic shock and disconnect the brain from the body.
While it is true that syncope can be related as a symptom of a major illness, it is not clear and determined that only a fainting spell is necessary to undergo major treatment. One of the most common causes of syncope is the reaction that the body may have to fainting, among the medications that have developed this side effect, those that are indicated for heart failure, blood pressure and in case of cancer, the Pre-chemotherapy medications can be counterproductive in this regard and lead to falls.
The most common syncope is known as Vasovagal Syncope, in this case, it is produced by the most elementary conditions of the human being, physical exhaustion, getting up very quickly from a chair, or sudden drops in blood pressure. Vasovagal syncope is called fainting when a woman is pregnant, whose symptom, more than common, is routine in the gestation process. Drawing blood from the body can cause considerable wear and tear on the body, in addition to turning pale, it also causes drowsiness and in extreme cases, fainting.
