What is socialism? »Its definition and meaning

Anonim

Socialism is a current of thought that originated from the proliferation of capitalism in large societies. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, authors of the Communist Manifesto, are considered the most important developers of this idea, which aims to confront from its creation the bases that oppress the proletariat, equalizing the people of a society eliminating social divisions. The industrial revolution was one of the most significant triggers that originated this system of organizationeconomic, political and social, since the rise of the companies with their respective representatives marked important bourgeois bases within a society where what was most abundant was the proletariat. The oppression suffered by the marginalized class of society would finally be the turning point for a series of brawls that would lead to the political activism of the offspring and the emergence of more radical movements such as Anarchism.

The most elementary principles proposed by Marx and Engels in their work were class equality, that is, living in an environment in which there was no social barrier defined by the amount of money or the production capacity. In Socialism, the productive apparatus of this community is in charge of a centralized axis that converts this product into goods for the community, and it distributes it equitably in a fair amount to each one.

With the centralized labor, educational, social and economic mass, tendencies such as cooperativism emerge, which are small organizations that, on account of the socialist system, filter budget and profits to the population to live in a just dependence on who controls so that everything is equitable. This system produces extremist ways of thinking, all in order not to leave the regime, which would cause the creation of the class division that socialism by definition demolishes.

One of the most outstanding characteristics of Socialism that is trying to sneak into some nations such as Venezuela, is the broad participation of the community in political issues that are the task of the government, but in order to extend the socialist process they are assigned to do so that the one who "governs is the people." So we have an actively political proletariat and in some cases questioning the model or the way it is administered.
