With respect to the theory of traditional knowledge, subjectivity is considered, the property of the perceptions, arguments and languages that are subject to the point of view of a person and consequently, are under the influence of the interests and particular desires of said person. person, while still thinking that things can be observed from different points of view.
It can be said that subjectivity is a property that is in total opposition to objectivity. While subjectivity is based on the opinion and interests of the subject, objectivity involves treating concepts as if they were objects, in a distant way and with the least involvement of the person. Subjectivity and objectivity present a clear difference when analyzing different texts. Those people who express the opinion of the author are subjective; while those who try to limit themselves to specific and factual data are objective.
Philosophy, for its part, analyzes this issue further. According to this specialty, subjectivity is closely related to an interpretation that is done on experience, reason why it is only accessible to the person who was present at the experience in question. In this way, the subject can develop their own opinions, regarding their specific perception and that are determined by what was experienced.
As mentioned above, subjectivity is established through what has been lived, that is, through the learned experience, therefore, subjectivity is taken as the singularity of the perception of reality and the frame of reference from which the individual elaborate the interpretation of the present. What is lived and the experiences that remain are personal and unique, for those who experience them and for that reason it is that they are only accessible to their conscience. Therefore, subjectivity is linked to the concept of identity.
