The subsidy consists of the granting of money by the state for the realization of different projects, this money is granted to the different civil servants of the public administration, without having the commitment to return it, and with the objective of carrying out an activity that goes do for public benefit.
The recipient of the subsidy is obliged to carry out the benefited activity and, in turn, the state has certain faculties such as supervising and monitoring the activity that has been favored, so that it is truly carried out, otherwise the state will have the power to revoke said grant.
Currently there are numerous economic activities that have been benefited by subsidies, including: public transport, agriculture, education, health, among others. At an educational level, the subsidy is what is commonly called a scholarship and it is received by students after having met certain requirements that allow them to receive the subsidy, this subsidy will allow the student to continue with their studies and research.
