Anonim

From a functional point of view, the torso is organized from essential parts that are, on the one hand, the spine and, on the other hand, the thorax.

The torso is made up of the thorax and the spine. In this way, many of the most important organs of the body are contained in the torso: the kidneys, liver, stomach, lungs and heart, among others.

The torso is responsible for providing accommodation to important organs of the body, such as the heart and lungs, and many others, such as the stomach and intestine, mainly responsible for digestive function, the attached glands, such as the liver and pancreas, the urinary tract and its fundamental components such as the bladder and kidneys and, in the case of women, the female reproductive system and its members par excellence: uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes.

Importantly, most men today have a special interest in muscles and strengthen their torso, to be able to boast of having an enviable body and physique. Therefore, they turn to squats, as well as other exercises such as segment rotations, push-ups, table positions, squats, and lunges.

Statues that lack limbs and head are called torso: "A Greek torso is displayed at the museum entrance", "In this room we can see ten images, a bust and a torso", "Archaeologists believe that the torso is about three thousand years old ”.
