Tramadol is a drug that is characterized by belonging to the morphine category of the opioid group. It is a strong analgesic that is used to treat severe pain caused by arthritis in any of its phases.
This drug directly attacks nerve cells, in the case of arthritis the drug sends a signal to the brain, reacting in a very specific way, an example of the reaction is when a person removes their hands quickly from boiling water, that is say, something immediate. With respect to the drug, the reaction it causes in the body is very useful for it. What Tramadol does is prevent pain from reaching the brain with much more intensity, for this reason the individual feels less pain.
The drug is implemented when traditional painkillers do nothing, such is the case with ibuprofen. When this does not happen, Tramadol is used to reduce pain, if it does not work, stronger drugs such as morphine are used.
Tramadol comes as suppositories and capsules, with a duration of approximately six to eight hours. One characteristic of this drug is that it uses modified release, which consists in releasing the active substance uniformly for longer periods of time, resulting in fewer side effects and a longer duration of action.
It is not recommended that pregnant women take this drug, as it can affect the baby specifically to its respiratory system, that is why it is necessary to see a doctor before ingesting this drug.
