At the time of ancient Greece Zeus was the representation of the most relevant god as far as Greek mythology is concerned, having such a position because it was the god Zeus who gave life to humans and some gods, in fact his name means "father of the gods" in the Greek language. This was the highest authority on Mount Olympus, that is, the king of the other gods. On the other hand, he was also represented as the god of the sky and thunder, among the signs that stand out, we can mention the lightning bolt, the bull, the eagles and the robe, in some cultures he is represented with a scepter, especially those that they are located in the Middle East. Zeus' primary function was to maintain theorder both in Olympus as well as in the entire universe.
Despite being considered the god of thunder and the sky, his functions were not only limited to these two characteristics, on the contrary, he transcended issues of greater importance, such as maintaining peace in the world and consequently prolonging the lives of the inhabitants of the earth, using order and justice as fundamental tools. According to legend, Zeus had the ability to be present in all places at the same time (omnipresence), for this reason he could be aware of the activities of mortals and even the gods themselves, being able to intervene in situations that merited it.
The goddess Hera was the wife of Zeus. This was considered one of the gods with the greatest responsibility, since his functions were not worth less, however, when it came to love matters, it could be said that it was his weakest point, being able to reach the point of being considered as careless in said appearance, which generated anger in his wife. It is said that Zeus had a son named Hercules, who he had with one of his many lovers, it was he who unleashed Hera's anger, for this reason she assigned him 10 jobs and that is where the legend of the great Hercules arises..
Another faculty that this god possessed was to change shape, from which he benefited, in order to escape his wife and be able to have his affairs in secret, which could include from goddesses to humans.
