The problem is that the app has activated, by default, the automatic download of photos and videos. This causes our iPhone to accumulate a large number of these multimedia files that take up a lot of space.

To avoid this we are going to tell you how to deactivate automatic downloads. We will only save in our reel what we really want and not everything that comes to us through this messaging app.

We access the app and click on the "Settings" button. This is in the bottom right of the screen. Once inside, click on the "Chats" option.

Here, in the chat settings, we will find the option to deactivate the automatic download of video and photos in Whatsapp. This will prevent all the photos we receive from being automatically saved to our iPhone reel .

The tab on which we have to focus our attention is the "Save to photos" tab. As seen in the image, we have the option to check or uncheck. By default, this option is checked, so if we want to deactivate it, we just have to uncheck it.
