This tutorial is focused on all those users who already have an Apple device and for some reason it doesn't work correctly. Also for anyone who wants to brand new iPhone without spending money.
What we are going to do is restore an iPhone and iPad, to factory settings. This will allow us to enjoy our device as if it were new, that is, like when we bought it.
Normally this tutorial is applied when our device does not work correctly, or an important iOS update has come out. It is in these cases that we recommend restoring an iPhone or iPad, since it allows us to debug our device as much as possible.
How to restore an iPhone and iPad to factory settings from your computer:
The first thing we have to do is connect our device to the computer via cable and enter iTunes if you have a PC or the finder if you have a MAC.
After recognizing and synchronizing it, click on the option indicated with the red arrow.
Option to access iPhone
When we have all the information on our device on the screen, we must make a backup copy on the computer. To do this, we activate the option, within "Backup copies", in which it says "This computer" and then click on "Make a copy now". It is also very important to have made one in iCloud, from the device, and to have activated all the app data that we want to be saved in that copy.
iCloud Backup
After making the copy, we will restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod. To do this, click on the "Restore iPhone" option that we see in the following image:

If we have made any purchases in the App Store, it will indicate if we want to save these purchases in the iTunes library. We recommend saving them.
From here, we just have to follow the steps that our iOS device will give us. They are very simple steps, we will have to put the country we are in, language, iCloud account .
Tip when restoring iPhone and iPad:
When it comes to whether we want to restore backup copy or if we want to configure the iPhone as new, we always recommend you that you are going to install a new and great version of iOS (the ones that are usually published in September), that you configure it as new. This will make a clean copy of the new operating system.
Then, when we enter our Apple ID, it will load everything we have saved in the backup copy that MANDATORY we have to have done before the process so as not to lose anything we had on the device.
And in a few simple steps, we can restore an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, and solve any type of problem we may have.
