The new Apple Watch Series 8 is here
It has finally arrived. Today's Keynote, September 7, 2022, has already taken place and we already have among us the new Apple products. Among them, the new Apple Watch Series 8 that comes with many new features.
The first thing we see of the Apple Watch Series 8 is that it maintains the design of the previous Series. That is, the design is the same as the Apple Watch Series 7. But we found new colors for it: Midnight, Stellar White, Silver and Red Product(RED).

Where this new Apple Watch really stands out is in the new functions that it includes. In addition to all the features coming with watchOS 9, the new Apple Watch has its own new features such as stride length measurement or the automatic ejection of water after swimming training.
We start with one of the most rumored for a long time. We are talking about the temperature sensor. Now the Apple Watch can detect our temperature and changes in it, which will help control ovulation for women.

Regarding the sensors, two more focused on the functions that come with the Apple Watch Series 8 have also been added. A new accelerometer, as well as a new gyroscope. And regarding them we have the new Shock Detection.
The Shock Detection is going to allow, just like Fall Detection, the Apple Watch to detect when we are in a vehicle if we have suffered a crash. And if, after a countdown, we do not indicate that we are okay, it will automatically call the emergency services.
Regarding the battery life, the duration of 18 hours is maintained. But a new Low Consumption mode is debuting that, without excessively reducing functions, will allow a duration of up to 36 hours and will be available from Series 4. In addition, from Series 5, International Roaming will also be available.
The Apple Watch Series 8 will be available to purchase starting September 16 and prices will start at $399 for the GPS version and $499 for the GPS version with mobile data.
