Spotify Crossfade
The Crossfade function of Spotify, is one of the app options that many of you are unaware of and that is most interesting. It is a function that we recommend you activate so that the playback of the songs is much more dynamic and enjoyable.
Do you like to listen to the cuts between songs? We are one of the people who like to listen to our favorite songs without pauses in between. Hearing how one song ends and the next one begins, with the consequent silence between the two, is not to our liking, so that is where the function we are talking about in this article comes into play.
With it configured, we will be able to merge the endings and beginnings of our favorite songs, in the purest disco style. Do you listen to the pauses between songs in the discos?, right? Well, that's what allows us to do the Crossfade .
How to Set Spotify Crossfade:
To configure and activate this function, we must access the app's preferences, by pressing the gear wheel that appears in the upper right part of the screen, within the "Start" menu, which we can see in the menu bottom.

Once inside, we will access the "Playback" option and that is where the Crossfade function will appear.
Set Crossfade to your liking
We have a bar with a white dot, which we can move left and right.This will allow us to configure the time that we want to merge between two songs. If for example we put 6 seconds, this means that the last 6 seconds of the song that is playing and the first 6 seconds of the next song will be merged creating an effect that will prevent us from hearing the silences that normally occur between songs.
