Twitter videos with sensitive content
If you find a video or image that you would like to see when you check your timeline on the little bird's social network, but Twitter won't let you because it contains sensitive content, you're in the right place . We are a web focused on the world iOS but this tutorial is suitable for all kinds of devices.
All Twitter accounts have media content settings that help the social network interpret the type of media its users post. This allows you to identify potentially sensitive content that other users may not want to see, such as violence or nudity.
This is why, natively, the option to "show media that may contain sensitive content" is disabled. This prevents you from viewing certain videos.
How to watch videos on Twitter with sensitive content:
Since this option does not appear in the official app, to activate it we must enter the desktop version of Twitter. We do this either from a computer or from your device's browser iOS, such as from the Safari app .
We access Twitter and enter our username and password.
Once inside our account, click on our profile image that will appear in the upper left part of the screen. This will give us access to the configuration options.
Now we will see the options on the left side of the screen and we will follow the following path Settings and privacy/Privacy and security/Content you see. This will allow us to reach a menu in which we will have to look for the option we are looking for and that we indicate in the following image.
Show sensitive content on Twitter
By activating "Show multimedia content that possibly has sensitive content", we can now enjoy those videos on Twitter, which we were not allowed to see before.
We also recommend accessing, from the desktop version, the following path, Settings and privacy/privacy and security/Content you see/Search settings and deactivating the following option:
Disable this Twitter option
After doing what we have told you, we recommend logging out of Twitter and reopening it to clear the cache.
In the following video we explain it to you in a more graphic way:
Show sensitive content on Twitter, configuring our account from our computer:
These adjustments can also be made from the computer, accessing the same routes that we have mentioned before.
Remember to also deactivate in Settings and privacy/privacy and security/Content you see/Search settings the option "Hide content that may hurt the sensitivity of some people".
You can activate the option to see sensitive multimedia content, from the Tweet itself:
If a blocked tweet appears, like the one we show you below, you can go directly to activate the option that we have mentioned, by clicking on the link that we indicate below.
Change settings directly
Do you see how simple? Remember that you have to do it from the browser version and not from the app.
If your content still doesn't appear, try logging out and back in again.
Greetings.
