There is no doubt that the Apple Watch has been the Apple device, presented in the September Keynote, that has received the most criticism. For us, as we told you recently, it's a rehash of the Apple Watch Series 6.
But let's not kid ourselves, the Series 7 is better than its previous version. Below we will tell you everything that makes it different from the Series 6 and we hope to help you choose one or the other watch model.
Differences between Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 6:
According to the well-known website macrumors.com, contrary to some recent media reports, it can be confirmed that the new Apple Watch Series 7 is powered by a new S7 chip, although the S7 is based on the same CPU which is found in the S6 6 Series chip.
The S7 chip will offer a 20% improvement in performance compared to the S6 chip .
The CPU on the S7 chip carries the same t8301 identifier as the CPU on the older S6 chip, but there are more elements on a Apple Watch chip than just the CPU and that's where there have apparently been some changes that have led Apple to brand it under a new name despite offering the same performance.
The Series 7, having the larger and more advanced screen, is likely the S7 chip has been tuned to continue to provide customers with all-day battery life.

This isn't the first time Apple has done something like this. For example, with the Apple Watch Series 5, Apple included the S5 chip that featured the same CPU as its predecessor, but with the addition of a gyroscope.
After clarifying the issue of the chip, we tell you that the internal storage of the S7 includes 32 GB, the same as in the Series 6 and SE models.

Regarding the weight between both models, we give you these differences:

On the connectivity front, the Series 7 includes the same Bluetooth 5.0 protocol as the Series 6 , but, unlike the Series 6 , the new Apple Watch also it has built-in support for Beidou, China's satellite navigation system. The Series 7 also packs the U1 chip, with no apparent improvement over the ultra-wideband chip found in the Series 6 or last year's iPhone 12.
