Will this feature be coming to WhatsApp?
Practically every week we have news from WhatsApp. And it is that thanks to the different betas and users who explore them, we can know what will be future functions of the application and the test state in which they are found.
And now we get to know what may be a future function of WhatsApp thanks to another beta phase of the application. This is a feature that is already available in some other apps and that can make the interactions in WhatsApp quite interesting.
Reactions in WhatsApp would allow us to use any emoji we wanted
It is about the possibility of reacting, using emojis and as a Reaction to the messages we receive in the instant messaging app. Something that already happens on Facebook, from where they probably inherited it, or on Instagram, for example.
The reactions in WhatsApp, as we have said, would be using the emojis of our iOS keyboard. From the looks of it, we could also react to messages we received with any emoji we wanted.

The emoji that we use will be displayed below the message and the operation of this function will be more extensive in groups. They will show the number of reactions and the most used emojis, as in Facebook, but it will also show who has reacted to the message and what emoji has been used for it.
As always with these functions and being in the testing phase, it is not possible to know when it will be available to all users. In fact, we can't even know if it will become a final feature that will make it to WhatsApp permanently.
