A new feature is coming to WhatsApp soon
Some time ago it became known that from WhatsApp were working on the possibility of adding a function that would allow us to listen to the audios before sending them. A function that could be quite useful.
And, finally, several months later, it is already being implemented for all its users, but in the Beta phase. Here we tell you how it seems that this future function of WhatsApp will work.
This new feature appears to be in public beta:
When this feature first came out, it was going to have a Review button. But it was not a button as such, but you could see the word Check on it. Now, it looks like that's about to change.
The way we learned about this feature
As can be seen in the images, and although it is not from the beta of the operating system iOS, now we can see three different buttons. Each of them with its own function for this new way of recording audio.
The first one we see is the familiar trash can icon. With this icon we can delete the audio that we are recording. For seconds, we can see the new Stop recording button. And this is where the new way of recording audio is based.
If we are recording audio with audio lock mode and we press the stop button, the recording will stop. And when you do, a Play icon will appear next to the audio sound waves allowing us to listen to it.
The new function buttons
Once this is done, we will be able to choose if we send the audio using the classic third button or, conversely, if we delete it using the first button. All this allowing us to check our voice messages.
At the moment it is too early to know when this function will finally arrive in the app for all users. But, since it already appears publicly in the beta, it should not take long. What do you think?
