Goodbye to many new features of iOS 15
In June of this year 2021, faithful to the usual dates, Apple presented the new operating systems for its devices at WWDC . And, as a main course, iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 arrived with some pretty interesting new features.
Although the definitive arrival of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 is scheduled for September or October of this year, the same will not happen with many of the novelties that were presented with these operating systems. That is what emerges both from the latest betas and from what Apple has communicated to some developers.
Much of the new features of iOS 15 will arrive, predictably, with iOS 15.1
One of the most notable changes is the return to the Safari that we all know. iOS 15 practically completely redesigned the iPhone browser, but in the latest beta Apple gives us the option to choose if we want the new design or the previous one. This is probably because the new design got a lot of complaints about how confusing it was.
In addition, among the novelties presented and that will not arrive until, predictably, iOS 15.1, we find SharePlay, the possibility of sharing content with others via FaceTime, as well as the ability to add cards de ID to Wallet
One of the novelties of iOS 15 that will arrive with the launch
Not only is this happening with these features in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, but apparently the Apps Privacy Report won't arrive at launch either , the Custom Email Domains, or UniversalControl, among others.
The truth is that we cannot get to know, exactly, what causes the delay of all these functions. It is probably due, mainly, to the fact that Apple wants them to arrive once they are fully functional.
In any case, this is not good news for iPhone and iPad users. More than anything because we see how a large part of the innovations presented and expected will not arrive when they should. What do you think of this news? Disappointing?
